Do any of you that receive SSD and VA 100% that are not yet 65 carrying a medigap plan? If so what company? I have researched and it seems you may have to wait til age 65...we're thinking of this...

I don't carry a policy but being a Federal retiree, I was given the opportunity to put my FEHB on hold. If I ever need it I can reinstate it to any of the plans available to other Federal retirees....

Mel, I put my FEHB in suspense when I became Tricare eligible. I don't immediately recall the conditions, but it can be reinstated. The info is in the OPM website somewhere. jDave
